The O&H Gold Rings are superior in quality to anything on the market. They are titanium nitride coated stainless steel alloy. Each ring is re-ground on both sides after coating for proper seating in ring groove. They are very hard and slippery. O&H recommends end gap of .005 to .010. (the 52.4 recommendation is .020 to .025) and to use a half to one size larger ring than piston for proper end gap. 54
